The Leystone Story

From the City to the Country

We weren't always farmers. In fact, we're only just getting started! But we want to share our experience with you.

Leystone Farms was established in 2020 at the foot of the Gatineau Hills.

Clearly identifiable by the beautiful hillside vineyard, Leystone is also home to 10 varieties of chickens (rainbow eggs anyone?), a sweet flock of Southdown Babydoll sheep, Scottish Blackface/Valais Blacknose sheep, and their guardian llama Loretta.

Nurture

A Single Value guides Us

At Leystone, we're guided by a desire to nurture. And that single value shapes every decision we make.

We seek to nurture the land, the plants, and the animals, using sustainable, regenerative practices. (Stay tuned for news about our raised bed, no-till market garden!)

But it's just as important that we are actively nurturing each relationship we have. With our family, our friends, ourselves, our community, You.

Everyone is welcome here.
